Guardiola’s Change of Hart

There’s been a lot of coming and going in the Premier League so far this summer, but of all the rumours this is possibly the most ridiculous. Although talk of Pep gunning for Joe Hart has been circulating since his appointment was announced, the latest potential destination of the England stopper seem a little wide of the mark.

In recent years Hart’s position as England and City’s number one has been called in to question on several occasions. The once assured shot stopper has had a series of costly errors, including a devastating one against Iceland at Euro2016.

It’s moments like this that many believe are the reason for Guardiola to question Hart’s ability between the sticks, but he’s likely to want to source a replacement before letting the former Shrewsbury Town player go.

Who Will Be Joe Hart’s Next Club

Recently the odds on Hart’s next club have taken a swift change of direction, with Arsenal now head and shoulders above the competition. For us at Cash Out Betting Sites this doesn’t make a lot of sense though.

In signing Petr Cech Arsenal have their safest pair of hands since David Seamen, so the likely hood of the gunners recruiting Hart seem a little farfetched. Not to mention the fact that like a lot of people, we consider Cech to better a much better goalkeeper.

In fact it appears the bookies are the only ones confident of the switch with Dave Burin of Ladbrokes saying: “With Pep’s City clear-out continuing, it seems Wenger could pick up a Hart-warming signing for Gunners fans.”

Next in the betting are Klopp’s Liverpool at 10/1, with this a more likely destination than the Etihad the chances are still slim. Klopp only recruited goalkeeping competition earlier this summer in Loris Karius, who he sees as a replacement for Mignolet.

Chelsea and Tottenham are both 12s to tempt the 29-year-old to the capital, but again this is unlikely given the quality already available. The most likely move for Hart appears to be a club looking to challenge the top four such as Everton, or abroad.
